Base frequencies for this processor are 4.7GHz, but this can be boosted up to 5.6GHz with the use of Precision Boost 2 or Precision Boost Overdrive.

Zen 4

For memory, AM5 will support DDR5 RAM modules, with maximum memory speeds up to 5200 MT/s. Additionally, a memory overclocking program has been developed specifically for the AMD Ryzen 7000 Series and DDR5, called AMD EXPO. This will offer optimised, on-click overclocking that can enhance 1080p gaming by 11% and reduce latency by up to 63ns.
